Hello everyone! Why does it feel like I haven't posted anything in ages? Maybe it's because I've had an incredibly busy week. From starting my second semester at university to passing my learner driver examination, my 10 months old niece getting incredibly ill and buying a new phone, this week had it all!

Let's focus on the last good thing that happened to me this week and that is my new phone. I was so glad when I got home on Thursday to see my Sony Xperia U, which I had ordered from Amazon, waiting for me. Yes, I don't own an iPhone and probably never will. I have nothing against Apple, I'm simply not their biggest fan.

The point of this blog post is to introduce to you my Instagram account, that I created yesterday. Obviously, I haven't posted many photos, but I'm so obsessed with it at the moment. I love photography, I've always had. I am learning proper photography at uni this semester too. I'm so excited to start using a DSLR camera! You know what that means, don't you? Better quality of photos and videos is coming soon.

Okay, have I been rambling or what? Sorry for my more than normal nonsense! Haha :)
Thank you for reading and if you followed me on Instagram it would make me very happy! Plus I follow back.

Hello beautiful people! What have you been doing lately? I have been dying my hair! Well, I got my hair done today by my beloved sister. I had being thinking of dying all of my hair a blonde shade for a while and my sister purchased a Wella Koleston Blonde Specialist dye in Natural Blonde (12/0) for me. Et voilĂ ! The result is shown in the picture below. What do you think of it?

For some reason I look like a ghost here and I apologise.
I'm not even sure I like it, to be honest. I just have to get used to it, I suppose. It's certainly not the colour I had in mind. This is more golden, almost a light ginger like colour, which really doesn't match my dark blonde eyebrows. Besides having to worry about the colour, the dye wasn't enough for all of my hair and we skipped the lower hair, which I don't really mind. But some of my hair at the back doesn't have even amounts of the colour, because the dye wasn't enough. In addition, the previous dye I used, which was a terracotta red, hasn't completely vanished and for that my roots are lighter. It's like a reverse ombre effect! Also, you can still notice the satin blonde highlights I had done last year. That is something I'm glad of. At the end of the day, I am glad I did it and it should fade and blend with my natural colour after a couple of showers. I hope this post wasn't negative to you, that was not my intention. I'm just a bit anxious since my mother wasn't very pleased with the result. I can't wait to hear what my friends at uni will say tomorrow!
Please let me know what you think of it!
Thank you.

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing great! It's that time of the year, SALE season! This is the time I can buy items without any rules to myself, since I think I'm spending less than what I would have if it weren't the sale time. What better place to shop than M&S? I don't normally buy a lot of things from them, because I do find that some items can be overpriced at times. However, that is not the case when they have sales. Marks and Spencer sales are the best as you can see for yourselves in the video below.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2013 will be bring happiness and health for you and your loved ones!
I had a few ideas for today's blog post and I couldn't decide what to do. First post of the year should be something good and informative, don't you think?
I finally came to the decision that something like 2012 Favourites would be a great post. After all, I haven't done many favourites posts. So, I am writing this blog post with a cup of warm tea and with the relaxing sound of the rain landing on my roof. Ah, so romantic...Um, yeah, I've lost my mind...I need to watch Pride and Prejudice again!

Okay, are you still with me? The products/items I've decided to share with you tonight are what I consider to be the ones I had been using the most in 2012. Let's begin!
MAKEUP:
Favourite Concealer: Select Cover Up from Mac in NW20, is a product that has been featured previously. I found myself completely skipping foundation during the summer and all I used was this little fella on the areas that needed some kind of coverage. I haven't used foundation since then, but my skin doesn't have a lot of blemishes. It's average teenage, sensitive skin. I wouldn't recommend using this without setting with powder on the under eye area, simply because it will crease. The coverage of it is quite light and the consistency is a bit watery, so if you are trying to make blemishes completely vanish, this isn't something for you. I like it because it's not heavy and you need a very small amount, it will last ages!
Favourite Powder: The LR Colours Loose Powder has be in my makeup collection for many years. As I've said the concealer needs to be set and the powder adds some more coverage to the skin. Although, this powder is my favourite, I have been wanting to get a pressed powder because this one can get your vanity a little bit dusty. Do you have any recommendations?
Favourite Eye Product: This one has to be Bare Study Paint Pot from Mac, without a doubt! Every time I have no idea what to do with my makeup, or I have very little time to get ready, somehow, I always use this product. The colour is an amazing, warm champagne with tons of tiny shimmery particles that instantly makes the eyes seem awake. It blends like a dream and I find that it can be worn completely on its own, on my normal to dry skin, without creasing.
Favourite Palette: Bare Eye Shadow Palette from Sigma. This shouldn't be a surprise to someone who follows my blog. I have filmed two makeup tutorials on my youtube account (link here) and I've posted a full review on the blog (link here). The shades in this palette are simply perfect for any look, you can go from the simplest everyday look to a very dramatic one. Also, the double ended brush included is a must have.
Favourite Mascara: Gosh Serious Volume Mascara, oh what a surprise! I have been using this mascara for such a long time, from the summer, and I think it's great. I have blogged about this one too (link here).
